Dry Run Munich High End 2014

Time to set up the Munich High End show.
We met in Walkertshofen Eddy from Pluto Audio, Peter from Allnic in Germany, Thomas from Blumenhofer and had some discussion and work to perfectly tune up our system for the Munich High End 2014. We are confident that we can participate at a reasonable level to the show... we are sure You will be thrilled too!!

We were officially not there: Bologna

On the 14th April, we participated to a private HiFi United dealer and distributor event in Bologna. The private event has been organized by Octave and Blumenhofer Acoustics and was aimed at showing off their products to the italian dealers. We were just a tool that has been used because Blumenhofer invited us to support his event. There we had the possibility to test our products in this challenging environment. As usual the look of the Genuin FS 2 polarized, but it was a great sound. As usual our products and most of all our Power Harmonizer contributed considerably to the overall result.

The chain playing was composed as follows:
- 40 years old Technics turntable in Blumenhofer Acoustics plint
- Octave Phonomodule
- Octave HP 500 SE preamplifier
- Octave MRE 220 mono amplifier
- Exposure CD Player
- and Blumenhofer's Genuin FS 2

Well... I know that it can play much better, but it was great!! Here the pictures about the event.

40 years of Pluto turntables at Audio 21

When I asked Marco, our distributor for Netherlands, he spread enthusiasm about the results of the show at Audio 21. These are, more or less, his words:

The show went great! Lots of visitors, great sound, even AJ (van den Hul) participated personally. René van Es took the pictures (now in the gallery) and will write a show report of the day.
It was the first show ever worldwide with 4 Pluto turntables. We played with the Gran Gioia's and the Genuin FS 2's and for the first time with a complete van den Hul amplification set-up!
All the Plutos played with the new Crimson cartridge from van den Hul.

Yes You read well, this is the first official appearance of a Cammino tonearm dedicated Cable: the start of a business relationship.

Music Days in Düren

Even this year the Neueshören Record store in Düren had an event about Blumenhofer.
Well... they were that busy dealing with customers that they forgot about taking pictures.

It must have been amazing.

Home Cinema Event at Spinelli Milan

At Spinelli was the first time we made such an home video event and I must tell it: it was impressive! Really amazing what a good home cinema system can do.
During set-up we did have some really hard time: making it perfect to the spot has been more challenging than expected.

Anyway impressive:

Norddeutsche HiFi Tage

For the 5th time in a row this is a permanent appointment in our show participation and we never regret being on that show. This year it was even better than last year. In my feeling the participation of the public was even more than last year.
What to tell that I haven't already told?
This time I did not have the chance to make even one step outside of our room and spent the whole day talking with people visiting the show and spending lot of time in our room.
...even if really tough it has been very good!!

With Yamaha and Blumenhofer at Spinelli in Milano

This was the second part of a twin weekend event.
On the first weekend there was EAR and Blumenhofer and this weekend we played at Spinelli with a source and power amplification of Yamaha. They were the top stereo products the A-S3000 and the CD-S3000. The products were top and the sound matched the quality of the products used.
The whole cabling and power treatment, as usual in our events was completely Cammino.
Some of the people present the week before have come again to enjoy the difference and better understand the quality of the material involved in the presentation. They were not disappointed. The character of the 2 kind of amplification was clearly recognizable.

With EAR Yoshino and Blumenhofer at Spinelli in Milano

At Spinelli we made a presentation with Blumenhofer's Genuin FS 2 and EAR Yoshino source and power amplification. Of course cabling and power treatment by from us.
Lot of people coming appreciated the quality of the reproduction and some of them spent there several hours to enjoy music in a way they only could appreciated in concerts.

Visit at Fidelity HiFi

We paid a visit and had a long discussion with the chiefs of Fidelity, a German paper magazine. It was quite challenging and interesting.

At the HiFi Schmiede in Ettlingen

At the HiFi Schmiede, in Ettlingen, Germany, we had a very nice surprise. We had more than twice as much participants as expected.
The HiFi Schmiede is situated in an idillic village not far from Karlsruhe, in the south west of Germany. In the ancient time there was a smith, an important one for the region. If You visit the store, other than real good music and ambient, You find remaining of this older use of the area.
The focus was music, and lots has been played. The original idea was to have 20 minutes music and then 40 minutes discussions. In the end there was music from the beginning to the end and always again one question in between.

The whole system was composed by:
- Lindemann 825 CD Player
- Rega RP8 Turntable with Quezo cartridge
- Octave Phonomodule
- Octave V110 Power amplifier
- Genuin FS 2
- Cammino cabling and power supply

First approach with A Capella, one leading horn loudspeaker manufacturer

Our German sales representative made a first approach to his friends at A Cappella, one of the leading horn loudspeakers manufacturer in the world. They invented the spherical horn!! And have a great success with it.
The first approach has been really delightful, let's see what this cooperation will bring for the future... if there will be any :-)

High End Swiss 2013

This was our first participation to the Zürich High End 2013 and I must say it was a really positive surprise. Blumenhofer is in Switzerland an already well known and estimated brand and the public knew what they were looking for. Really enjoyable. Sound Revolution, our distributor for Switzerland has been able to make a very astonishing setup in that room.

The system was composed by:
- Gato Audio CD Player from Denmark
- Hegel Music System DAC with integrated Preamplifier from Norway
- Sauermann Audio Power Amplifier from Germany
- and of course Blumenhofer's Genuin FS 2

Ours was cabling and power harmonization, but do I need to stress it?

I must say, it made music and the public liked it really a lot, the comments of the people going out of the room were really cheering and pleased me and the team exposing in Zürich.
Then the spectacular atmosphere created by the artistic tapestry and the very pleasant environment completed the charm. It was a long work, but it was worth it.

X-Fi Veldhoven HiFi Show

Even this year Marco de Wilde of Music2 presented an astonishing show in Veldhoven.
Cammino has taken care about the cabling and power harmonization in the main room: it was not an easy job!
And then we discovered another power harmonizer in another room. Unexpected but delightful!
