First time in Vienna: Klang-Bilder

These are the words of our Sales-Rep in Austria:

The Show was amazing, if we exclude the heavy burden to transportFor the first time it was not HiFi but music - Really a show...And both power harmonizers were amazing.

Participation to the Swiss High End 2014 in Zürich

We were there, and we had fun!!
We have been able to wire the whole system with our cables... except for one digital and one power cable from WireWorld. It was the first time as well that we used the new loudspeaker cable, the 14.4 reference with Smart Wiring. Was great!! What incredible possibilities unfold, if there is the time to play and fiddle a little bit around, what enormous chance to push the system further.
What shall I write, the best sign of success is seeing people staying in the room long time and... having something good to remember.

Loudspeakers: Blumenhofer Acoustics Genuin FS 2
The power amplification: Octave V70SE with integrated in the Power Amplifier
Analog source: Dr. Feickert Woodpecker with Tonearm from Jelco and Lyra Delos Cartridge
Digital source: CD Transport from Audio Tonale with DAC from Hegel

Of course the whole cabling came from us Cammino including the power harmonizer.
If You wish to have a short view of what we did, take a look at the pictures here

Participation to Göteborg Ljud & Bild

...and now is time to tell the story of our Göteborg Ljud & Bild
We were playing in Hotel Hotel Scandic Opalen, Room Bohus 1, under the flag of Old School HiFi.
The system was an "old school" system:
- Power Amplifier: McIntosh MC75 Jubilee edition
- Preamplifier: McIntosh C220 60 Years edition
- Source: Turntable McIntosh MT5
- Cartridge: London Decca Special Gold
- Loudspeaker: Blumenhofer Genuin FS 1 MK 2
- Cabling and Power Treatment from Cammino

We used the top of our products, and they played top. As usual, our power harmonizer played a very central game to support the quality of all the other equipment!

The show was great!
Plenty of people interested in what we were making, people appreciating a lot our sound, people enjoying our kind of music and presentation, people spending hours at our booth.
Journalists enthusiastic about the result of our efforts.

Well, I must admit, it has been really convincing and really enjoyable, and honestly sometimes breathtaking for me!!
It made me eager for more. If You are curious, here You can browse the pictures of the show. See You soon in Scandinavia.

Working with A Capella

We spent a whole day at A Capella, one of the world leading manufacturer for Horn Loudspeakers.
As development system we were using a one way Laudatio loudspeaker, a small bookshelf which is 'just' a development reference project of A Capella which will only see the light if there will be a minimum order.
The source was an Einstein CD Player, one of the best CD Player in the world.
The power amplifier was a simple MaiA of Pro-Ject box Design, but believe me, more than sufficient for the task.

We spent the whole day, as I mentioned, trying to understand each-other products and find a way to implement new ideas in our power harmonizer.
Alfred Rudolf has been keen on working with us, at least as much as we have been keen on working with him!
I think all of us profited of this cooperation development day.

Fact is that we were really astonished. Yes, really astonished about the big result that even small changes could bear. Astonished, by the quality of the products we were working with. Flabbergasted by the ideas we collected.
It was a start and a first rough idea. It is up to us to extend and implement it.
We have known some more CDs and authors, some of them will become reference for us to work with.

Thanks to Armin, Alfred and Hermann to have made it possible!

Here to the Gallery with some pictures of the day.

AVShowrooms posted a video about our room at the Munich High End 2014

In the last part of his report from the Munich High End, Peter Breuninger put a video of our room in the show.
Even if he did not mention our company we are there, look beyond the table and on the rightmost edge of the setup, You will se our power harmonizer and our blue moon award

In his comments Peter says about our room that there was a beautiful sound, had a lot of crispiness and no coloration.
At the end he apologized for the volume ...well, we should apologize for the volume, not he, but You know, when it sounds good, I tend to increase it more and more :-)

Thanks Peter for Your positive feedback!!

Short report on the event in Calco from Angelo Jasparro - Audio Activity

Angelo Jasparro (here in English), a well known and famous italian HiFi Journalist, leads Audio Activity, an Italian online magazine, since several years.
He paid us a visit during the Event in Lecco last week and wrote a short report. Here You can read it in Italian... on a dedicated page ;-)

"Real High Efficiency" event in Calco near Lecco, Italy

On the 28th of June Alta Fedeltà in Calco, near Lecco hosted a very nice event with Blumenhofer and Octave. We had the chance to present our products as well and hold a short seminar on the importance of how to treat current as one of the 2 important signals that generate music.
Here You can read something more about the event. It is written on Italian.

The Sala Grande room had:

• Blumenhofer Genuin FS 2
• Octave HP 300 Mk2 and RE 290

• whole cabling from Cammino-HP
• Power harmonization from Cammino as well

The Sala Nuova room presented:

• Blumenhofer Tempesta 20
• amplificatore Octave V 40 SE
• lettore Cd Gold Note Koala Tube Anniversary

Needles to say that most people spent most of the time in the Sala Grande.
Well, we hat lots of questions and lot of information share, lot of talks and, in between, I had the chance to sit down and enjoy some music: my impression was that there was no system, that everything disappeared and the music came like a wall with a refinement and a description precise like a diamond cut. It had the presence and the richness of a complete symphonic orchestra. Wow a seldom experience!
Here some pictures of the event (thanks to Blumenhofer)

p.s.: during the event we agreed with Angelo Jasparro of Audio-activity to experiment the Power Harmonizer at his place very soon

Dry Run Munich High End 2014

Time to set up the Munich High End show.
We met in Walkertshofen Eddy from Pluto Audio, Peter from Allnic in Germany, Thomas from Blumenhofer and had some discussion and work to perfectly tune up our system for the Munich High End 2014. We are confident that we can participate at a reasonable level to the show... we are sure You will be thrilled too!!

More pictures will be available after the Munich High End ;-)
More pictures available since the 16th of Mai 2014 here!!

We were officially not there: Bologna

On the 14th April, we participated to a private HiFi United dealer and distributor event in Bologna. The private event has been organized by Octave and Blumenhofer Acoustics and was aimed at showing off their products to the italian dealers. We were just a tool that has been used because Blumenhofer invited us to support his event. There we had the possibility to test our products in this challenging environment. As usual the look of the Genuin FS 2 polarized, but it was a great sound. As usual our products and most of all our Power Harmonizer contributed considerably to the overall result.

The chain playing was composed as follows:
- 40 years old Technics turntable in Blumenhofer Acoustics plint
- Octave Phonomodule
- Octave HP 500 SE preamplifier
- Octave MRE 220 mono amplifier
- Exposure CD Player
- and Blumenhofer's Genuin FS 2

Well... I know that it can play much better, but it was great!! Here the pictures about the event.

40 years of Pluto turntables at Audio 21

When I asked Marco, our distributor for Netherlands, he spread enthusiasm about the results of the show at Audio 21. These are, more or less, his words:

The show went great! Lots of visitors, great sound, even AJ (van den Hul) participated personally. René van Es took the pictures (now in the gallery) and will write a show report of the day.
It was the first show ever worldwide with 4 Pluto turntables. We played with the Gran Gioia's and the Genuin FS 2's and for the first time with a complete van den Hul amplification set-up!
All the Plutos played with the new Crimson cartridge from van den Hul.

You can read a report on the event written by René van Es on the pages of Puresound.be page

This is the setup:
- Blumenhofer Gran Gioia
- Pluto 10A turntable
- 9a Pluto tonearm (Cammino wired)
- van den Hul Crimson card
- VdH Grail SB (Holy Grail) phono preamp.

Yes You read well, this is the first official appearance of a Cammino tonearm dedicated Cable: the start of a business relationship.
